# Create a Wallet

As with any other dApp, you'll need a wallet to start interacting with Paintswap. Paintswap is compatible will most popular wallet providers, however, we recommend Rabby Wallet due to its simplicity and ease of use.

If this is your first time creating a wallet, **be sure to write down and/or backup your recovery phrase.**  Otherwise, you are at risk of losing access to your funds permanently.  With that taken care of, look down and you'll find links to the Rabby and MetaMask. Both these wallets comes with Sonic network prelisted.
